Why Citadel

The difference is in the parts you never see

Anyone can stand pickets in a line. What separates a fence that lasts from one that leans is depth, concrete, hardware and honesty — and that is where we spend the extra time.

Posts set the right way

Every post goes into concrete at the correct depth. It is the part nobody sees, and it is the reason a fence is still standing straight ten years later.

Materials picked for Florida

Pressure-treated lumber, galvanized and powder-coated steel, weather-rated hardware. Salt air, humidity and afternoon storms are the design brief here.

You get a straight answer

If a repair makes more sense than a replacement, we say so. If something in the ground changes the scope, you hear it that day and not on the invoice.

On time, on budget

You get a date and a number, and both hold. Most residential installs are finished in one to two days.

Common Questions

Answers before you call

How much does a new fence cost?

It comes down to linear footage, material, height and how many gates you need. Wood privacy is usually the most affordable per foot; ornamental aluminum and tall commercial chain link sit higher. Our estimate calculator gives you a ballpark in about a minute, and the on-site visit turns that into a firm written number.

How long does an installation take?

Most residential fences go in over one to two days once the material is on site. Larger commercial perimeters and automatic gates take longer. Either way you get the schedule in writing before we start.

Do I need a permit or HOA approval?

Many North Central Florida municipalities require a permit for a new fence, and most HOAs want the style and height approved in advance. We tell you what applies to your specific address during the estimate, so nothing stalls halfway through the build.

Can you repair my fence instead of replacing it?

Often, yes. Leaning posts, storm damage, sagging gates and broken boards are all repairable. If the posts are rotted through and a patch would only buy you a season, we will tell you that straight. See fence repair.

What kind of fence works best around a pool?

Florida pool barrier code drives that decision — minimum height, picket spacing, and self-closing, self-latching gates. Aluminum is the usual answer because it meets code, never rusts and does not block the view.

Do you take commercial jobs?

Yes. Barbed-wire perimeters, privacy slat screening, equipment enclosures and automatic gates for warehouses, aviation facilities, municipal sites and active jobsites. See commercial & security fencing.
